Privacy Notice

1. Who this notice covers

This notice explains how yonderun.com ("Yonderun", "this site") handles personal information. Yonderun is operated by an individual, Suzannah Bramley Morjaria, of 46 Abington Avenue, Northampton NN1 4PA, United Kingdom. Suzannah Bramley Morjaria is the person responsible for the site — and for Coin Overload: Reactor, the game it hosts — and is the data controller for the personal information described below, reachable at editor@yonderun.com. Yonderun is not operated by a company, and there is no separate corporate entity behind it.

Because the site is operated from the United Kingdom, personal information is handled in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Most of the site's visitors are in Australia, so it is also run with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as a guide. Both standards are applied to everyone who visits the site, wherever they are.

2. Information we do not collect

Yonderun has no user accounts, no sign-up or login of any kind, no contact form, no newsletter, and no push notifications. Playing Coin Overload: Reactor doesn't ask for a name, an email address or any other personal detail. The only way to send information to the site operator directly is by writing to the email address above, which is a normal email, handled the same way as any other message sent to that inbox.

3. What the game stores on your device

Coin Overload: Reactor keeps two small values in your browser's localStorage, entirely on your own device:

• Your best score — so the game can show it back to you on a later visit.
• Your sound preference — whether you last left the game muted.

Neither value identifies you, neither is sent to our server or to anyone else, and both stay on your device until you clear your browser's site data. There is no server-side save, no leaderboard and no account tying a score to a person.

4. Information collected automatically

Like effectively every website, Yonderun's hosting and content-delivery infrastructure automatically processes some technical information as part of serving each page: the requesting IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page (if any), an approximate location derived from the IP address, and the date and time of the request. This is standard web server and content-delivery-network log data. It's collected because it's reasonably necessary to run and secure the site — our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), and the collection is consistent with APP 3 — to keep pages and the game loading correctly, and to detect and block abusive traffic. It is not linked to any account, because no accounts exist.

5. Cloudflare and cross-border processing

Yonderun is served through Cloudflare, a content-delivery and security network. Cloudflare processes the connection-level data described in section 4 on our behalf, and its infrastructure is global, which means some of that processing may take place outside the United Kingdom and outside Australia. Where information is transferred in this way, we rely on Cloudflare's data processing terms, including the transfer safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, and on Cloudflare's own security commitments as the reasonable steps taken to protect that information, consistent with the UK GDPR and APP 8. Yonderun does not itself operate servers outside the arrangement described here, does not run its own analytics, and does not sell or share this technical data with anyone.

6. How we use this information

The technical information described above is used only to operate and secure the site: serving pages and the game correctly, and identifying and mitigating malicious traffic. It is not used to build advertising profiles, it is not sold, and Yonderun carries no advertising and runs no analytics or tracking script of its own.

7. Cookies and browser storage

Yonderun does not set its own cookies. Besides the two game values described in section 3, the site writes two further localStorage entries: one that remembers whether you clicked "Accept" or "Decline" on the cookie notice banner, so the banner doesn't reappear on every page, and one that remembers that you confirmed you are 13 or older, so the age check isn't repeated. All four values stay on your device and are never sent to our server. The full list, with names and purposes, is in the separate Cookie Notice.

8. Disclosure of information

The only recipients of the technical information described above are: Cloudflare, acting as our content-delivery and security provider, and our hosting provider, which stores and serves the site's files. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to any other third party.

9. Data retention

Server and content-delivery logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the security and operational purposes described above, and are not kept indefinitely. Emails sent to the contact address are kept for as long as needed to handle the matter raised and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up.

10. Your rights

Because Yonderun collects almost no personal information beyond standard connection logs, there is little to access or correct in most cases. If you believe we hold personal information about you — for example, in an email you've sent to the contact address — you can ask to access or correct it by writing to editor@yonderun.com. Under the UK GDPR you also have the right to ask for it to be erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format; under the APPs you have the right to access and correct it. We'll respond within one month and, where a request can't be met in full, explain why.

11. Children

Yonderun is intended for people aged 13 and over, and asks every visitor to confirm their age before using the site. It is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 13. Because the site has no accounts or forms, no personal information is knowingly collected from any visitor, including children; the age confirmation itself is stored only in your own browser, as described in section 7.

12. Security

Reasonable technical steps are taken to protect the site and its infrastructure, including serving the site exclusively over HTTPS via Cloudflare's network and limiting who has administrative access to the hosting and domain configuration. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but no data more sensitive than standard connection logs is handled by this site in the first place.

13. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. The date below always reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be reflected in that date rather than being announced separately, since the site has no subscriber list to announce them to.
