Coin Collector Arcade

Chasing Riches: Coin Adventure

Closer to a slow, idle island-collector than an arcade coin run — tap to gather resources, unlock new plots, and wait for energy to refill between check-ins.

Chasing Riches: Coin Adventure is the only genuinely idle game in this hub: instead of a real-time run, it's an unhurried collector where you tap through a set of floating islands, gather coins and energy, and slowly unlock new houses and areas as a well-dressed mouse guide leads the way. It's a slower, check-in style game rather than something you sit and actively play for minutes at a stretch, in a hub where the other three all ask for real-time reflexes of one kind or another.

First fifteen minutes

The opening islands are small and quick to clear out, and the tap-to-collect loop needs no real explanation — tap a resource, watch the counter go up, spend it on the next unlock. It's a gentler onboarding than the rest of this hub, if a less immediate one.

Where the pacing drags

Energy for taps regenerates slowly, which means longer sessions run into a wall where there's genuinely nothing left to do until it refills. That's a deliberate pacing choice rather than a bug, but it makes this a poor fit for anyone wanting a single long sitting rather than a handful of short check-ins across a day.

Sound and feedback

The collection chime is satisfying on its own, but the background music loop is short enough that its repetition becomes noticeable within a longer session.

Who should skip this one

Anyone wanting the real-time, reflex-driven coin runs the rest of this hub is built around should start with Coin Rush! instead. This one suits players who'd rather check in a few times a day than sit through one active session.

Small details that stand out

The recurring mouse-in-a-suit guide, and the small vignettes tied to each new unlock, give the "chasing riches" theme more personality than the interface around it usually gets credit for.

Session length and offline progress

Unlike the rest of this hub, progress does continue passively between visits as energy refills, closer in spirit to the idle-mining hub than to an arcade run. A single check-in rarely takes more than a few minutes before there's a genuine reason to close the app and come back later.

What we liked

  • Gentle, unhurried pace suited to short repeated check-ins.
  • Island unlocks and character vignettes give it more theme than most hub-mates.
  • Tap-to-collect loop needs no explanation.

What holds it back

  • Energy limits mean longer single sessions run out of things to do.
  • Plays closer to an idle collector than the "coin adventure" arcade framing suggests.
  • Background music loop is short and noticeably repetitive.
  • Overall polish lags behind Coin Rush! and Puppy Coin Jump in the same hub.
