Puppy Coin Jump

A single-tap platformer stripped down to jump, land, collect — the simplest entry point in the hub, with just enough cosmetic unlocks to keep a short session coming back.

Puppy Coin Jump strips the coin-collecting idea down to a single input: tap, and a cartoon puppy hops from one platform to the next. There's no lane to steer, no wheel to cut, no board to roll across — just timing a jump, landing on the next ledge, and grabbing whatever coin sits above it on the way. It's the simplest game in the Coin Collector Arcade hub by a clear margin, and it leans on cosmetic unlocks rather than mechanical depth to keep a short session coming back.

First few minutes

The main menu is a single green "Play" button over the puppy standing on a platform, and a run starts within a couple of taps — no tutorial level, no forced pop-up. Coins sit just above each platform, roughly in the arc of a well-timed jump, so collecting them is mostly a side effect of landing cleanly rather than a separate thing to aim for.

Controls and feel

Every action in the game runs through one tap: tap to jump, tap again mid-air if timing needs adjusting, and that's the entire input set. The pace picks up gradually as the run goes on, which is the only real difficulty curve on offer — there's no second mechanic layered on top, just the same jump asked of you a little faster each time.

Coins, skins and themes

Coins collected during a run double as the game's only currency, spent in a skin shop on cosmetic variants of the puppy — Cocoa, Sky, Rose, Ninja and Mint Pup each cost 10 coins on top of the default Classic Pup. A separate theme picker swaps the whole background palette between Light, Dark, Pink, Forest and Ocean at no cost, and a stats screen quietly tracks best score, total jumps, skins collected and games played for anyone who wants the numbers.

Session length in practice

A run ends the moment a jump is mistimed, and getting back in takes one tap on the menu's Play button — there's no loading screen or recap standing between one attempt and the next. A Daily Rewards button on the main menu hands out a small coin bonus once a day, which is the only thing in the game that asks you to come back at a specific time rather than whenever suits.

Where it grates

The jump-and-land loop never grows a second system to lean on — once the timing feels familiar, the rest of the game is the same request asked slightly faster. Language options are limited to English and Vietnamese, thinner than most of its hub-mates, and there's no idle or offline element at all: closing the app simply pauses everything until the next tap.

What we liked

  • Tap-only controls are instantly readable — nothing to learn beyond timing a jump.
  • Coins double as a cosmetic currency, with six skins and five colour themes to unlock or switch between.
  • Restarts are immediate, with no menu standing between one run and the next.

What holds it back

  • One mechanic for the whole game — there is no second system to grow into once jumping between ledges feels familiar.
  • Only English and Vietnamese language options, thinner than most of its hub-mates.
  • No offline or idle element at all — progress simply pauses the moment the app closes.
